While both Group Classes and Group Personal Training take place in a group setting, there are significant differences in the design & feel of the sessions:
Group Classes – Group classes offer a one-size-fits-all program that does not cater to different body types, levels of experience, and the individual needs of each client. There is generally a higher risk of injury in settings like group classes and less attention from a trainer or coach.
PF Group Personal Training Sessions – A form of personal training that takes place in a semi-private environment. You’ll receive hands-on support from your trainer and each member in the session will train according to their own individually-designed training plan.
Group Personal Training Sessions take place within a semi-private environment with other like-minded members. Sometimes there’ll be 3 members, other times, you’ll be the only member booked.
In all cases, you’ll receive the support, guidance, and encouragement of one of our professional personal trainers.
The workout plan for every session is designed in advance – and is regularly modified for optimal performance and greater freshness. The trainer’s role involves setting up and demonstrating activities, keeping time, guiding each member to correct form and technique, and providing motivation.
Don’t worry. Once you start your program, you’ll soon discover that you receive more than enough personal support to work up a sweat with an optimized, targeted, and invigorating workout.
– Shower/Changing Rooms – We have two private shower/changing rooms with Bathe to Basics shower gels and a separate washroom available only to PF members.
– Lounge Area – Sit back and enjoy a post- or pre-workout beverage in our cozy lounge area.
– Snacks & Supplements – Workout snacks and supplements are available for purchase.
– Private Treatment Room – All members get discounts on physiotherapy and massage treatments.
Members are encouraged to leave their shoes at the door and go barefoot. Socks are also cool.
